Okay I’m back from camp, and woah, it was awesome.
Day One:
We departed from VS at about 8.15, then we arrived at MOE Adventure Camp at Jalan Bethera. We went to our bunk, unpacked and then headed off for nature rumble, and the mud was awesome, luckily I wore my old pair of shoes, socks and clothes. Thank goodness, something in my head told me that I’d better not waste my VS uniform. Then after that, we just attended some talks and all, so nothing very interesting here.
Day Two:
So we woke up at 5am, and then we basically went to bathe and then went to the assembling square to do morning exercise. Then we went for high elements, kayaking. Kayaking was the best cause me and hazick were the fastest among all of them ^^. Then we did abseiling and it was much easier than the last time I did it, cause I didn’t pay attention to the ground when I was walking, lol. Then during the campfire, the JL s And SLs (Junior leaders and senior leaders) did the banana dance. And the teachers wrote their names with their butts, and for 1A’s opening act we did the hokey-pokey lol. Then some person told us some scary ghost story that the ghosts make noises very similar to ducks quacking. And he swore he heard them. Guess what’s the spooky thing? I woke up at 3a.m., and I personally HEARD the noises. And they sounded very far off, which in actual fact meant that it was NEAR. Then suddenly the cats started meowing like crazy and it was seriously creepy. I half expected to see some pontianak to suddenly pop out with bloodshot eyes infront of me.
Day 3:
Woke up at 5.45 AM, and then we sang the victorian anthem, and then packed up and left. We arrived at 11.45, when they told us we would arrive at 1.30, so I just took a bus back home. It was seriously fun lol.
We learnt one VERY important cheer during the camp.
