I have no idea why I’m doing this entry, but I figured that readers would find it a more enticing read rather than just an entry about my own mundane life. On other issues, it saves a lot of embarrassment and unwanted people finding out about my life.

From that sentence above, you could probably tell that I’m not in a very good mood now. If you can’t, well I’m telling you now. So anyway, my blogging style doesn’t really change, just that the way I phrase my words tend to have a lot of hidden meaning.

Something that seemingly refers to something that’s muddled up in my mind is something obscure that I don’t really wish to share.

So fact number 1 about longyetshort.blogspot.com :

Things aren’t always what they seem.

So now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s examine the content of my posts.

Let’s just hope that I’ll be able to work on my strengths and improve on my weaknesses. Like what one of juniors said, when you’re in the midst of school, you pray for the holidays to come. When the holidays are finally here, you wish that school was back. People are never going to be satisfied with what they have, so you use your disadvantages to your advantage, and use that urge as an outlet for self improvement, abjuring jealousy…

That’s an excerpt from one of my previous posts which embodies fact 1. But, either I’m deluding myself, or there’s something about the way I think written between the lines there. It’s somewhat about my way of thinking and the way I express it here. Recently I’ve had a leaning towards more complex vocabulary.

Thus, fact 2:

My writing style mirrors what I’m thinking right now.

Sample blog title post. So yeah, it contains some words that you may or may not know. Together they don’t make much sense either. But they do.

Fact number 3:

You won’t understand everything.

Let’s say that I think this blog post is meandering and losing it’s direction now.

Actually, I always blog when I listen to music. Right now I’m listening to David Cook. It’s kinda melancholy and actually bursting with emotion. Maybe misguided, commercial emotion, but nonetheless somewhat thought provoking.

fact 4:

longyetshort will contain some contradictions and idiosyncrasies.

So yeah, you might have found out some things about me.  Because really, for me, blogging is something where I just write down my thoughts. It comes naturally at my bouts of whimsical inclination. I don’t really plan what I want to blog about. It’s like a public diary, because that’s the kind of attention seeker I am. Not really.

It’s kind of weird. I personify certain things and use very obscure words to characterize them. For example, I once said that a certain instrument lacked a sort of mellow majesty. Something that empowers you and lifts you up yet sets you down with its grandeur.

It has to be said though, that all these statements somewhat contradict each other in their own special way. Yet they all fit into a cohesion.

Just like the title itself, longyetshort. Somewhat of an impasse non-sequitur.
